Agreement
These terms govern your use of valena.in and the Valena cashback service. Using the website or registering an account means you accept them. The Cashback Terms are part of these terms.
The service
Valena publishes offers from online stores and shares part of the referral commission it receives with members as cashback. Valena does not sell the goods or services you buy. Your purchase is a contract between you and the store, which is responsible for price, delivery, quality, warranty, returns and refunds.
Who can register
You must be 18 or older, live in India, and be competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
Accounts
- Provide true details and keep them current.
- Hold only one account. Additional accounts may be closed and their cashback cancelled.
- Keep your password private. Activity on your account is your responsibility.
- Report suspected unauthorised use to support@valena.in straight away.
Prohibited conduct
- Placing fake orders, or orders meant to be cancelled or returned, to earn cashback.
- Using automated tools, proxies or VPNs to interfere with tracking.
- Posting Valena links on coupon sites, in paid advertising or in bulk messages without written approval.
- Scraping, copying or republishing website content without permission.
- Attacking, overloading or otherwise disrupting the website, or using it unlawfully.
Where we reasonably suspect a breach, we may withhold or cancel cashback, suspend or close the account, and report to authorities where required.
Offers and third-party sites
Stores can change or withdraw offers at any time. We aim to keep listings accurate but cannot guarantee it. Each store's terms and decisions apply to your order. Linked store websites are run by their owners, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Intellectual property
The Valena name, logo, design and written content are owned by Valena. Store names and trademarks belong to their owners and appear only to identify offers.
Liability
The service is provided as available. As far as the law allows, Valena is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for anything a store does or fails to do, or for cashback a store does not record, approve or pay. Our total liability for any claim is limited to approved cashback owed to you and not yet paid. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded are not affected.
Closing an account
Email support@valena.in to close your account. Approved cashback at or above the minimum payout is paid before closure where possible; cashback approved after closure cannot be paid. We may close accounts that break these terms, or that have been inactive for a long time after notice by email.
Changes
We may revise these terms. The effective date above will change, and members will be told of material changes. Continuing to use Valena means you accept the revised terms.
Law and jurisdiction
Indian law governs these terms. Please contact us first to resolve any concern. Subject to your consumer rights, courts in Manipur have jurisdiction.
